THE RHIW GOCH INN is situated in the Southern Snowdonia, with stunning views of the Rhinog Mountains. It is also on the doorstep of the world famous Coed-y- Brenin Mountain Biking Centre (the first purpose built in the UK). The Rhiw Goch Inn is an idyllic pub/restaurant with warm and friendly service and excellent food. It consists of a cosy bar with an open log fire, a lounge bar with comfortable leather sofas to relax on, and a large restaurant with a varied menu that will suit all age groups. We also have an additional function room for private parties , weddings, meetings, conferences, corporate functions and social gatherings (we can cater for small or large groups).


The Rhiw Goch inn currently has two properties available for self-catering and catered holidays and breaks;
The Rhiw Goch Cottage (sleeps 9- 11) and the recently renovated Courthouse Lodge (sleeps 10 - 12)

Both have fully functional modern kitchens, Very comfortable lounge areas with leather sofas, TV/DVD. Central heating throughout and ample private parking in the Court Yard.

rhiw goch innThe Rhiw Goch was originally built as a farmhouse in the 12th Century (before Harlech Castle).
Being a country place of importance, it was the home of the local M.P and High Sheriff of Meirionnydd in the mid 1500’s. As well as being one of the big farms, it was the local Court House.
In 1610 Henry Prince of Wales spent several nights here.
